That moment which many women dread, has been faced with courage and conviction. I imagine that moment just like that scene in GI Jane where Demi Moore gives herself a buzz cut, but with scissors instead of an electric razor (she must avoid cuts). She's going to kick cancer's @$$ like a Navy SEAL after Bin Laden. (BAM! ...too soon?)
So here is my awesomely badass friend, with the final result. In my opinion, she looks beautiful.
Props to her husband for the hair cutting work, it's nicely even. Now her hair follicles don't hurt, her hair isn't falling everywhere (or on anything), and her daughter is enjoying the look. She's also had some moments of energy, and she's been learning to play the piano.
As for me and my physical training process, I wasn't feeling on top of my game so I stayed in to do some yoga instead of going to the track. I did an hour of Ashtanga Yoga (and had gallons of water!), followed by another 45 minutes of Kundalini Yoga. After that I felt significantly better. Tomorrow will be another running/walking day. :) Until next time! Namasté.
B.
She does look beautiful!
